Self-Employment and Entrepreneurship Development (SEED)

1. 90 piglets were distributed to 45 SHGs of Kamrup, Sonitpur & Karbi Anglong district of Assam.

2. 250 ducklings & 550 Chicks were distributed to 3 WEGs of Kamrup district.

3. 300 women received training on preparing detergent, toilet cleaner, and phenol.

4. 600 plus women received training on Piggery and poultry farming and received theoretical knowledge on pig castration, pig vaccination, and poultry vaccination.

Target Groups Direct Beneficiaries: 600 women of 60 WEG in villages of Kamrup(m), Sonitpur and Karbi Anglong Districts of Assam.

Indirect Beneficiaries: 600 families of 60 women of WEGs and people of 60 villages.
Objectives Food security in 600 women led families living below poverty line is increased by 60% through women’s agency.
Project Brief Goal of the project : Women are empowered to be agents of a just and equal society.

To recognize women as food producers, as income earning farmers, as health and nutrition care providers and as nutritionally vulnerable population.
Accomplishments
531 detergent kits, Toilet cleaner kits and phenol kits were distributed to 317 women in 3 districts of Assam (Kamrup, Sonitpur, Karbi Anglong).
1149 women, men and youth attendant program on gender awareness from 2019-2022.
